Anglers can expect to find northern
pike, walleye, largemouth bass, perch, crappie, and bluegill populations
in Lake Cochrane.
Please note South Dakota fishing regulations are
enforced.

Dakota Fishing Regulations
There are unique fishing regulations
to Lake Cochrane. They include:
- No walleye/saugeye less than 14
inches in length may be taken from lake
- Protected Slot in effect for
Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass. Daily Limit is (3) Bass which
may include no more than (1) over 18 inches and none between 12- 18
inches.

When you leave a body
of water:
-
Remove any visible
mud, plants, fish or other animals before transporting equipment.

Eliminate water from
equipment before transporting.

Clean and dry
anything that comes into contact with water (boats, trailers,
equipment, clothing, dogs, etc.)

Never release plants
fish or animals into a body of water unless they came out of that
body of water.
